My favorite time of year in my absolute favorite place! I’ve lined up 3 retreats for this September in Sicily, each a dream on their own, or join us for all to make up a tour of the most beautiful places in Sicily. We’ll use Travel Sketchbooking Workshops - sketching and painting with watercolors - as our mindfulness practice to slow down and let the glorious sun, sea, and beauty sink in.

First, our island getaway at Hotel Signum where I hosted two retreats in 2017. Incredible breakfasts with all the cappuccinos a girl could want, daily slow art workshops, swimming in the turquoise sea, incredible meals, sunset sea views.. The good life!

Day 1

2:00pm Meet at CTA Catania Intl Airport for group transport (car-ferry-car)

5:30pm Check-in, time to unpack and relax

6:30pm Welcome Ceremony Soirée

7:30pm Sunset Dinner

Day 2

8-10am Breakfast (fit for a queen! And the BEST cappuccinos)

10-1:00 Sketching & Watercolor Workshop: Still Life and Watercolor Fundamentals, inspired by the island

1:00pm Free time, perhaps lunch poolside, at the beach, or in town (& gelato!)

6:30pm *Optional Aperitivo- Meet for cocktails on the terrace for a Sip n’ Sketch :)

8:00pm Dinner at my favorite local family restaurant - handmade pasta, fresh fish, amazing cannoli.

Day 3

8-10am Breakfast (incredible spread, lucky us)

10-1:00 Sketching & Watercolor Workshop: Flora & Fauna, inspired by the island

1:00pm Free time, perhaps lunch on the terrace, spa treatment, shopping in town

6:30pm *Optional Aperitivo- Meet for cocktails on the terrace for a Sip n’ Sketch :)

8:00pm Free time, perhaps dine in town and try the island’s best pizza!

DAY 4

8-10am Breakfast (local delights),

10:00 Free time, perhaps the morning at the Signum Spa? See spa menu for details.

1:00pm Let’s shop for a picnic lunch seaside!

2:00pm Boat Trip & Workshop: On the sea ! We’ll sketch the water and seascapes along the coast, stopping at secret swimming spots

6:30pm *Optional Aperativo- Meet for cocktails on the terrace for a Sip n’ Sketch :)

8:00pm Free time, perhaps back to Diva’s favorite? Or try something new ;)

DAY 5

8-10am Breakfast (everything and more)

10-1:00 Sketching & Watercolor Workshop: Village Life, inspired by the island

1:00pm Free time, perhaps lunch in town then a swim at the beach

6:30pm *Optional Aperitivo- Meet for cocktails on the terrace for a Sip n’ Sketch :)

8:00pm A very special farewell dinner at Signum’s Michelin starred restaurant

10:00pm DANCE PARTY !

DAY 6

8-10am Breakfast (last hurrah!)

11am Check-out, Group travel (car-ferry-car) to Catania Airport CTA, to arrive 2:30-3:30pm

*Optional cocktail hour includes cheers, sketchbooking support, and quiet company. It does not include the cost of drinks ordered.
